Navigate your way to the best possible care

Navigating the care market is complex

There are over 12,000 homecare providers and in excess of 20,000 care homes in the UK.

In your area, there will be dozens of providers that could work with you. Each offering a variety of services, with certain specialisms, differing levels of quality, contrasting capacities to deliver and a wide range of prices to pay.

Care Captains are best placed to help

In 2019, only 28% of those in need who contacted their local council for support received long term care Increasingly, more people will have to organise and fund their own care in the future. With many years experience and offering help across the UK, Care Captains are best placed to offer guidance and support.

A company you can trust

Care Captains achieves the best possible care by arranging the right type of care, in the right amount, at the right time, delivered by the right provider at the right price.

We care about our clients

My Dad was receiving help via a homecare visit in the morning but all too often they were done in twenty minutes yet we still had to pay for the full hour. The provider said they didn’t do less than one-hour visits, which we found hard to accept. Therefore, we contacted Care Captains and they soon found us a new provider who visits Dad for half an hour in the morning and again in the evening. The new care plan also has a weekly cleaning visit. Despite all these additional visits, we’re now paying less than we were before. I would definitely recommend Care Captains.

We didn’t have a clue where to start, if I’m honest. My mother has recently had a dementia diagnosis and I live some distance away. My father is not the type to ask for help but inevitably we could see it becoming a burden to him at some point. Care Captains were great in designing a care plan that wasn’t too intrusive, explaining that low level support that can increase over time would be the best option and we’re really happy with the end result.

My wife has homecare and I was managing her care for her. The care itself was ok but the bills and paperwork were endless! Bills for care visits that didn’t take place. Bills that I had paid being sent out again. Visits taking place at wrong times. It wasn’t the carers fault, they were smashing but the company itself was a nightmare to deal with. So now I use Care Captains and if I’m not happy then they sort it out. We kept the same provider but I now pay less due to what Care Captains negotiated, I only get one bill at the same time each month and if I’m not happy, Dan and his team put it right. Very satisfied now!
